My name is Christine Carson, or CC for short. I'm a scientist that is passionate about connecting with others to share my love for scientific discovery.
I am currently a Biology Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) at Kansas State University. As a GTA, I teach undergraduate-level laboratory classes, conduct ecological research related to understanding grassland soil microbial communities, and share my research with the Manhattan, KS community through public engagement opportunities.
After graduation (August 2017), I will continue to build bridges between science and society, because I firmly believe that science is for everyone.
